Carpool Anyone?

I am planning on going to Maryjo's for the ornament exchange and was wondering if anyone else from Spokane is going? I'd love to leave my car here for my hubby and kids to use but would be happy to chip in for gas should someone else be willing to drive. Anyone?

Thanks,
Nicole

I'm still recovering from 'the Great Art Adventure' last weekend. I had a wonderful time and enjoyed seeing some of you there. I liked it at the store. It seemed very intimate and exciting. I would have loved to have taken more classes, bought more 'stuff', watched more demos, and visited with attending artists. NEXT YEAR! My only suggestion that would have made the show better for me, personally, would have been to see pre-show samples & examples of what the classes were about. I have a niggling suspicion that I missed some golden (oops, not the products!) opportunities because I just wasn't sure what the class really was. I was inspired by the lecture and class that I took about acrylics. I also know that it was very similar to what I've been learning from MaryJo every month . . . I confess I was lured by the 'seductive surfaces' in the description. I've got to start on my fat/chunky page . . . and I somehow ended up with my own journal this month! See you soon, Mariel (she who is practicing blogging here)

This month's meeting

Hi out there!
I do hope some of you are reading this.
I got some bad news this past week....my Mom passed away. It was not totally expected and in some ways a blessing as she will not suffer any longer.
I must be down in California next week for the services which means I will not be able to run the club but I think you all could handle it yourselves if you would like to continue the scrabble tile necklace without me. I can leave the supplies at the shop and if a few of you could band together and show any newbies what to do I think that would be great!
Please let me know what you all think. Email me directly if you can't post it here on the blog.
For those of you that attended my Friday Class in the valley I am sorry that I have to cancel this weeks class but I am sure you understand.

ALSO I hope that everyone thinking about attending any of the classes at the show please sign up ASAP we still have some spaces but the large mailing went out on Thursday so I know some of the classes will fill up and you want you guys to have the first crack at it! Everyone who is coming to the show will get an EXTRA 20% off even sale items! Sunday will be 25% but I doubt there will be much left, LOL!
Thanks for understanding!
MJ
